想起来昨天去积木，check in的时候小mm拿过卡一刷，

"Hi, how are you, $#$%#@$??? How do you say it?"

"It’s blahblah, rhythm with blah"

"@$#%$#",她还是很困惑, "do you have a nickname?"

"Panda, you can call me Panda."

"Panda? can I call you that?"

“Sure. I’d love it.”

今天接过毛巾时候，小mm磕磕巴巴说了个"Enjoy～, Panda～"。 孺子可教啊。

As a loyal user of Live Writer and Live Messenger, I was so glad that in the latest Live Writer, I was offered to show my blog update in my Messenger when setting up my wordpress account. This is really a nice touch. Most of my friends are blogging on Spaces and they are used to get blog updates from their Messenger instead of RSS reader. Sometimes I feel a little isolated, now maybe I am offered a chance to join the circle?

But I got an error message when clicking “add”. The error message isn’t much helpful as I didn’t really enter anything.

Then I tried to add the wordpress activity directly. It turns out I can only use blog hosted at wordpress.com.

Why Spaces requires me to host on wordpress.com is a mystery to me? In the end, I think it’s just some RSS pulling. But it’s definitely a bug in Live Writer that I was offered such an option.

Normally for me, the first thing after installing a new operating system is to install a good ramdisk. For my brand new Windows 7 X64, I was planning to install QSoft Ramdisk. The ramdisk is installed as a device. And the installation is super simple according to the website

1. In Control Panel, double-click the Add Hardware icon to start the wizard. Click Next
2. Select Install the hardware that I manually select from a list. Click Next.
3. Select Show All Devices. Click Next
4. Select Have Disk button and navigate to the ENG , FRE or GER subfolder that contains the RAMDriv.inf file for the respective English , French or German version of the ramdisk. Push OK.
5. Select Next , Next , Finish.

Exactly the same way as you will install a non-PnP device. Except in Windows 7 (Add hardware is now called Add device), there is no place to manually select the device and install. All I got was this:

Click the “What if Windows doesn’t find my device?” leads me to a help page explaining how to add some wireless device. Not very helpful.

Until someone told me that I can get the old “Add hardware” program by running “hdwwiz”.

Wow, the old faithful “Add hardware” UI is back.

Though the UI is a little bit out of place—the right edge is cropped, see there is no close button, but it gets the job done nevertheless.

上个星期开始所谓”new year resolution“，每两天游泳一次，前两天还好，还在水里睁着眼睛游了几圈。这两天眼睛不行了，貌似被氯气弄的，每次都是又干又涩又痛。

幸好上个星期定的泳镜到了，才十几刀，外带一黑色硅胶泳帽，每次游完头发都涩涩的，希望这次能有改善。“工欲善其事必先利其器”啊，古之人不欺我也，嘿嘿。

另，刚来美国的时候，穿了一蓝色三角游泳短裤，在游泳池里被人侧目。后来知道这边男性穿紧身游泳短裤是很不好的事情，后来再也没有穿过，全都换了肥大宽松的沙滩裤，虽然水里面阻力大大的，一转身就兜一裤子气，可是入乡随俗嘛。到了这高档健身房发现大家都穿紧身游泳裤，全身的，裹腿的，四角的，三角的，我这宽松的沙滩裤反而成了另类。世界真奇妙啊，计划永远赶不上变化。
